Good lord.

Yeah, but no less shitty than the Intellivision controllers.
Atari 2600 controllers were simple and fun, but easily broke when launched across the room.

Jbox,
Actually Colecovision wasn’t cheap. It was just under $400 when I bought it new, and that was in 1982.
Games averaged $50 each.

Man that was great…back in the days when black people were too poor to afford video games.

LMAO it’s sad… (but true!) i love the ps3 and all, but it will truly go down as the US sega saturn of this generation (another system that i love!…with my extensive import collection, of course!)

@DelphinusMinor I never had a Colecovision, but my friend did. But I do remember the Xmas I got the Atari 5200, & I can remember 2 seperate Xmas, I got Asteroids, the other Donkey Kong (both for 2600 VCS). Also had Atari 2600, Intellivision, Commodore Vic-20, Commodore 64, & Magnavox Odyssey 2. Thank God for Emulation. I have Every retro/classic game system + Every game ever made!

@unknownorigin84 Me too. In 1977 I was the 1st kid in school to have the Atari 2600!
March 1st, 2010 at 10:51 pm
I do not fully agree… the system had unbelievably better graphics than the 2600, they had even NES standard!
March 1st, 2010 at 11:35 pm
I still remember the Christmas morning I got this. It is still one of the best Christmas mornings ever.
I even remember the companies that made most of the games, and that originally Nintendo made games for Coleco, before going out on it’s own.
Official made Zaxxon, Exidy made Mousetrap, etc…
